It feels like it has been ages since I’ve taken part in a TTT and I’m excited to hop back on board. I forgot how fun this was every week. This week’s TTT brought to us by The Broke and the Bookish is…
Ten Books I Feel Differently About After Time Has Passed (less love, more love, complicated feelings, indifference, thought it was great in a genre until you became more well read in that genre etc.)
- Twilight by Stephanie Meyer: Believe it or not, the more time passes, the more I love this book and series because it is what fostered my love of books. It may not be epic, but it made me a reader and that alone is reason enough for my love for the book and series to grow.
- White Tiger by Jennifer Ashley. I recently reviewed this one and the more and more I think about it, the less I love it. Jennifer Ashley writes amazing books and when stacked against a different author, the book still shines, but when I compare it to other Ashley books, it just doesn’t shine the same.
- Archangels Enigma by Nalini Singh: I love this book and loved it just as much, if not more the 2nd time around. Nalini has a quality in her books that are unlike any other. Her books are truly unique and magical and I find myself surprised with each new title. I will never tire of her books.
- Up from the Grave by Jeaniene Frost: Say what you’d like but I think the book was amazing. I’m obviously sad to see the end of Cat and Bones but as time has passed, I have found that I love their story that much more and thing it ended on a worthy note. I am itching for a spin off though so fingers crossed. Rachel Vincent ended her Shifter series and we all cried because it was so good and we weren’t ready for it to end but she recently released Hunt and Lion’s Share, both spin offs of the series. Perhap Frost will do something similar and much like with Vincent’s book, I’m sure it will be worth the wait.
So I don’t really have any others that are worth mentioning at the moment. This might change as I sleep on it since it is late, past my bedtime, and I have work early in the morning so if you stop by later, this post may change.
Tell me the books you feel differently about in the comments below!
